Ernte 2026 ist eröffnet — und wir starten mit einem neuen Drescher. Nach vier Jahren New Holland CR kommt jetzt der John Deere S7 850 mit 12m Flexdraper und Raupe. Wie kam es dazu? Nachbar Paul (300 ha), Erbsen-Lohnarbeit (100 ha) und die eigenen Flächen summieren sich auf 1.300 Hektar diese Saison — da war klar: neues Setup muss her. Händler Nick hat ein Paket geschnürt: S7 850 plus zwei 6R 250, und die Rechnung geht auf. Den Flexdraper wollte ich unbedingt — letztes Jahr bis zu 150 € Verlust pro Hektar beim Hanf durchs Starr-Schneidwerk, das passiert nicht mehr. Was der S7 alles kann: Groundspeed-Kamera mit vorausschauender Vorschubregelung, vollautomatische Dreschwerkseinstellung, NIAR-Sensor für Sortenauswertung, Wiegezellen im Korntank, Ertragskartierung über Operation Center, Überkehrkamera und freie Joystick-Belegung. Alles aus einer Hand, alles John Deere. Deadlift ist übrigens auch wieder mit dabei — nach der OP zurück im Dreschersitz.
