Ein sich rapide intensivierender Küstensturm, ein sogenannter Nor’easter, bringt Windböen bis 90 km/h. Drohen Whiteout-Bedingungen mit Sichtweiten unter 500 Metern? Bürgermeister Eric Adams verhängt ein Fahrverbot ab Sonntag 21:00 Uhr, Schulen bleiben am Montag geschlossen. Nach dem tödlichen Wintersturm vor wenigen Wochen wächst die Sorge vor Chaos, Stromausfällen und gesperrten Straßen.
