Yusril meminta semua pihak bersabar menunggu penyelesaian soal wilayah empat pulau tersebut.
Sebelumya, Kemendagri terbuka dengan evaluasi terkait penetapan empat pulau sengketa yang berada di antara Provinsi Aceh dan Sumatera Utara.
Mendagri Tito Karnavian pun mengaku tak keberatan apabila ada gugatan hukum yang dilayangkan ke PTUN.
Tito mengatakan, pemerintah tak punya kepentingan pribadi dalam menentukan batas wilayah ini.
Menurut Tito, pemerintah hanya ingin menyelesaikan batas wilayah karena berkaitan dengan transfer anggaran, hingga pembangunan wilayah.
