Physicians are often regarded to have a fulfilling, desirable career—but what’s often not talked about is the training path to get there: the things that are “behind the scenes”, like the process before residency, residency training, and beyond. So, what is the experience like in the perspective of someone who is a resident physician and at one time, also a patient?
