Dalam pidatonya, ia melontarkan potensi Ketua Umum Partai Demokrat Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) dapat menjadi calon presiden di masa depan.
Bahkan kepala negara itu mengungkapkan kemungkinan adanya "Presiden AHY" di Indonesia.
Pasalnya, usia AHY yang masih relatif muda.
Hal itu disampaikan Prabowo di acara Kongres VI Partai Demokrat di Ritz-Carlton, Jakarta Selatan, Selasa (25/2/2025).
"Sekarang usia 46? Plus 25 (tahun 2050), ya baru 69, siapa tahu. Ada Presiden SBY, siapa tahu ada Presiden AHY, saya nggak tahu," ujar Prabowo yang disambut riuh oleh para kader Demokrat.
Kemudian Prabowo menyentil Wapres Gibran yang duduk berdampingan dengan AHY dalam acara tersebut.
Menurutnya, saat ini mereka mungkin duduk bersama, tetapi tidak menutup kemungkinan untuk bersaing dalam politik di masa depan.
"Sekarang duduk berdampingan, nanti bisa bersaing ini dua orang ini," tambah Prabowo.
Lantas, guyonan itu disambut tepuk tangan meriah dan sorakan dari para kader yang hadir.
