Hal ini disampaikan oleh Megawati dalam pidatonya di Sekolah Partai, Lenteng Agung, Jakarta Selatan, Jumat (5/7/2024).
Terkait dengan hal ini, Megawati pun sempat melayangkan protes pada kadernya, Yasonna Laoly yang juga merupakan Menteri Hukum dan HAM.
Lebih lanjut Megawati kemudian menyampaikan curhatannya saat ia berhadapan dengan hukum semasa Orde Baru.
Megawati menceritakan, kala itu dirinya dipanggil sebanyak tiga kali oleh polisi dan kejaksaan.
Bukannya ketakutan, Megawati mengaku dirinya merasa keheranan dengan aparat yang memanggilnya.
Pasalnya mereka menunjukkan wajah ingin menakut-nakuti.
Megawati lantas berseloroh menantang Sekretaris Jenderal PDIP Hasto Kristiyanto agar tak takut dipanggil oleh penegak hukum.
Sebagaimana diketahui, Hasto baru saja dipanggil sebagai saksi kasus Harun Masiku oleh Komisi Pemberantasan Korupsi (KPK).
Sepekan sebelum dipanggil KPK, Hasto lebih dulu dimintai keterangan oleh Polda Metro Jaya terkait laporan dugaan berita bohong yang membuat kegaduhan lewat wawancaranya di televisi swasta.
Adapun saat pemanggilan oleh KPK, Hasto terlibat perseteruan imbas penyitaan sejumlah barang miliknya dan stafnya, Kusnadi.
