Sapi Raksasa Mike Tyson Milik Warga Pekalongan Terpilih Jadi Kurban Presiden Prabowo
PEKALONGAN, KOMPAS.TV - Seekor sapi jantan berjenis Brahman Angus atau Brangus bernama Mike Tyson, milik Fauzi, warga Desa Sijambe, Kecamatan Wonokerto, Kabupaten Pekalongan, terpilih menjadi hewan kurban Presiden Republik Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto.Keistimewaan Tyson terletak pada ukuran tubuhnya yang luar biasa, panjang 2 meter dan tinggi 1,65 meter. Perawatan intensif dilakukan dengan makanan pilihan seperti rumput segar, ampas tahu, bekatul, dan suplemen tambahan.
Sapi raksasa ini dibeli saat bobotnya masih sekitar 600 kilogram, lalu dirawat selama dua tahun hingga seberat 1,2 ton. Setiap tiga bulan sekali dilakukan pemeriksaan rutin oleh dokter hewan.
Pemilihan Tyson sebagai hewan kurban Presiden melalui proses seleksi ketat. Awalnya ada tiga sapi yang diusulkan. Setelah dilakukan pemeriksaan fisik dan kesehatan, akhirnya dipilih satu ekor terbaik.
Dari hasil uji laboratorium, Tyson dinyatakan bebas dari penyakit dan dalam kondisi sangat sehat. Tidak ada cacing hati dan tidak ditemukan luka atau masalah fisik lainnya.
Sapi berbobot 1,2 ton seharga Rp100 juta ini akan disembelih sebagai hewan kurban Presiden Prabowo di Masjid Al Muhtaram, Pekalongan.
Pelaksanaan kurban dilakukan usai salat Hari Raya Iduladha 1446 H yang jatuh pada 6 Juni 2025 mendatang.
