ABOUT THIS VIDEO
Practice asking questions in English with this easy A2 listen-and-repeat lesson! In this video, you’ll practice 25 everyday questions in the simple present and improve your English pronunciation and intonation.
First, we’ll practice yes-no questions with rising intonation. Then we’ll practice WH- (information) questions with falling intonation. Finally, you’ll practice questions with choices, such as “Do you prefer coffee or tea?” These require a rise and then a fall in our intonation. Follow my model.
You’ll practice questions (with common variations) about:
• Movies and TV
• Reading
• Music and instruments
• Family and siblings
• The news and daily habits
and more!
At the end, we’ll have a short conversation together so you can hear how these questions work in real communication.
This lesson is for A2 English learners who want to speak more confidently, improve pronunciation, and practice asking questions naturally.
Your practice: Choose TWO questions from the lesson and write your answers in the comments!
