BANDUNG BARAT, KOMPAS.TV - Presiden Prabowo Subianto resmi melantik Jenderal Tandyo Budi Revita sebagai Wakil Panglima TNI.Posisi Wakil Panglima TNI terakhir kali terisi tahun 2000 lalu.
Setelah 25 tahun kosong, posisi Wakil Panglima TNI kembali terisi.
Dalam gelar pasukan dan operasional dan kehormatan militer, Presiden Prabowo Subianto resmi melantik Jenderal Tandyo Budi Revita sebagai Wakil Panglima TNI.
Sebelumnya, Tandyo Budi Revita menjabat Wakil Kepala Staf TNI Angkatan Darat dengan pangkat letjen.
Terkait posisi Wakil Panglima TNI yang baru dilantik, anggota Komisi I DPR dari Fraksi PDI-P, TB Hasanuddin, mengatakan hal tersebut merupakan konsekuensi logis atas restrukturisasi yang dilakukan di tubuh TNI.
Sementara itu, pengamat militer ISESS, Khairul Fahmi, menilai keberadaan Wakil Panglima TNI membantu tugas Panglima untuk koordinasi lintas matra.
Pelantikan Wakil Panglima TNI menjadi momen bersejarah. Pasalnya, jabatan Wakil Panglima TNI terakhir dipegang Jenderal TNI (Purn.) Fachrul Razi pada tahun 2000 lalu.
