Rumah Ibadah di Sukabumi Digeruduk Warga Karena Diduga Tak Berizin, Dedi Mulyadi Beri Bantuan
SUKABUMI, KOMPAS.TV - Warga menggeruduk dan merusak salah satu rumah di Sukabumi, Jawa Barat, yang dijadikan sebagai tempat beribadah.Gubernur Jawa Barat, Dedi Mulyadi pun merespons dengan memberi bantuan uang kepada pemilik yang rumahnya dirusak warga. Polisi juga memasang garis polisi guna penyelidikan lebih lanjut.
Inilah aksi warga Desa Tangkil, Cidahu, Sukabumi, Jawa Barat saat menggerebek dan merusak rumah singgah milik warga yang diduga menjadi tempat ibadah umat Kristiani.
Warga tak terima karena rumah tersebut diketahui tak memiliki izin sebagai rumah ibadah.
Untuk meredam situasi, polisi pun datang ke lokasi dan memasang garis polisi.
Pasca penggerebekan dan perusakan rumah, Dedi Mulyadi datang dan melihat langsung kondisi rumah tersebut.
Dedi menyerahkan kasus ini pada kepolisian jika memang perlu diproses secara hukum.
Dalam kesempatan itu, Dedi memberikan bantuan uang tunai senilai Rp100 juta kepada pemilik rumah yang mengalami kerugian akibat rumahnya dirusak.
Dedi berpesan agar warga tetap hidup rukun dan saling berdampingan tanpa memandang ras dan agama.
Polres Sukabumi pun menggelar pertemuan bersama Forkopimda, Forum Kerukunan Umat Beragama, dan MUI untuk bermediasi.
Polisi menyebut telah meminta pemilik rumah untuk menghentikan kegiatan peribadatan sementara waktu agar situasi tetap kondusif.
