He montado un PC con 96 núcleos, uno de los ordenadores más potentes que se pueden construir hoy en día... y la pregunta es clara: ¿tiene algún sentido real?
En este vídeo pruebo un sistema basado en AMD Threadripper, comparo distintos escenarios de uso (gaming, streaming, renderizado, compresión, servidores y hasta inteligencia artificial) y descubro una verdad incómoda: más potencia no siempre significa más rendimiento útil.
A lo largo del vídeo analizo por qué muchos programas no aprovechan tantos núcleos, cómo Windows limita este tipo de CPUs, por qué las GPUs se han convertido en el centro del mundo del rendimiento moderno y en qué casos extremos muy concretos un PC así sí puede tener sentido.
