Nos dias de hoje, existem muitos motoristas por aí que se sentem mais seguros ao volante graças aos inúmeros dispositivos de eletrônica instalados pela própria fábrica. A verdade é que eles apenas dão uma falsa impressão de segurança em determinadas situações.
Os carros passaram a vir, por exemplo, equipados com o sistema eletrônico de estabilidade. E mais de uma vez já me perguntaram, se esse sistema, o ESC, evita a aquaplanagem.
Em primeiro lugar, só é possível evitar a aquaplanagem reduzindo a velocidade antes de entrar naquele trecho com a lâmina d'água sobre o asfalto.
Em segundo lugar, se o carro já está aquaplanando, não adianta acionar nem o freio, nem o acelerador. Mantenha o volante reto até as rodas voltarem pro asfalto e reze!
