Nach dem Ausbruch auf einer Kreuzfahrt wächst die Sorge

Bislang sind drei Passagiere des niederländischen Kreuzfahrtschiffes "Hondius" tot - gestorben am Andesvirus aus der Familie der Hantaviren. Inzwischen wurden weitere Infektionen nachgewiesen, hinzu kommen Verdachtsfälle. Außerdem haben 29 Menschen die "Hondius" auf einem Zwischenstopp verlassen, einige von ihnen sind nicht erreichbar. Wie gefährlich ist das Virus? Es kann von Mensch zu Mensch übertragen werden, vor allem durch Tröpfcheninfektion, sagt der Virologe Prof. Roman Wölfel.
