Gary Williamson lost his sight at 18; so how does he make the photographs he does today? Gary is a registered blind photographer from Lancashire, and in this live conversation he talks me through his story and how he works. We cover art college, losing his sight while travelling and the years without a camera, and how digital photography brought him back to it. He explains how he builds a picture in his head before he goes out, finds it with sound, touch and contrast, and edits his black and white street work, portraits and self-portraits.We also talk about his World Sight Day collection with Sony and the thinking behind his line, "not to look at what is lost, but what is possible".
