In this video, I discuss two Bitcoin Core devs' views on Bitcoin spam and mempool usage (Gloria Zhao and Murch).
I also demonstrate (using a "spam tester") how Bitcoin spam affects internet bandwidth and RAM usage for node runners.
My conclusion is that node runners who care about the network and resource efficiency should run Bitcoin Knots, instead of Bitcoin Core.
