Iran Ancam akan Kerahkan Nuklir Jika Pengawas Nuklir PBB Setujui Resolusi Kecaman 3 Negara Eropa
TRIBUN-VIDEO.COM - Iran mengancam akan menyerang, jika badan pengawas nuklir PBB, yakni Badan Energi Atom Internasional (IAEA) menyetujui resolusi kecaman baru yang diusulkan oleh tiga negara Eropa.Ancaman itu datang dari Kepala Energi Atom Iran, Mohammad Eslami, dilansir Fars News, Selasa (4/6/2024).
"Jika mengeluarkan resolusi terhadap Iran di dewan gubernur dan tekanan politik dari para pihak, Iran akan menanggapi sesuai dengan pengumuman yang dibuatnya kepada mereka," kata Eslami.
Diketahui, pada Senin (3/6) lalu, tiga negara Eropa yang mengajukan rancangan resolusi itu adalah Inggris, Pancis dan Jerman.
Mereka mengecam Iran yang gagal bekerja sama dengan badan pengawas tersebut dan menuntut akuntabilitas yang lebih besar.
Adapun, Amerika Serikat bantah menghambat Eropa meminta pertanggungjawaban Iran.
Namun AS khawatir, kecaman itu memperburuk ketegangan di Timur Tengah.
Diketahui, ketegangan di sana meningkat sejak militan Palestina yang didukung Iran, Hamas, menyerang Israel Oktober 2023 lalu dan memicu konflik di Gaza.
