После свершившегося Sensory Studies язык гуманитарных исследований стал интенсивно обогащать свой концептуальный аппарат, заимствуя значения из тех сфер повседневности, которые определяют чувственный строй современного субъекта. Этот язык эволюционирует, и его понятия циркулируют в двойном режиме: как языки научного описания и в качестве средства выражения потребительских запросов или профессиональных инструментов. Наша лекция на примере трех исследоваьельских областей — ольфакторных исследований, Food Studies и Wine Studies покажет, что современный потребитель является одновременно и своего рода невольным культурным исследователем.
