Collien Fernandes setzt sich seit Jahren öffentlich mit dem Thema digitale sexualisierte Gewalt auseinander – ihr Fall hat die Debatte darüber und die Schutzlücken im deutschen Recht nun neu entfacht.

Digitale Gewalt, wozu unter anderem Identitätsbetrug im Netz aber auch sogenannte sexualisierte Deepfakes gehören, betrifft weltweit Hunderttausende und richtet sich vor allem gegen Frauen. Bundesjustizministerin Stefanie Hubig will nun einen Gesetzentwurf gegen digitale Gewalt in all ihren Formen vorlegen, um Schutzlücken zu schließen.

Wie wirksam kann das neue Gesetz sein? Warum gibt es das nicht schon längst? Und was muss sich strukturell, gesellschaftlich und in der Prävention ändern, damit Frauen besser vor Gewalt geschützt werden - im Netz und außerhalb?
