At least nine victims have been reported, the police chief says.
Tuesday will be election day for millions of Americans, as New York City residents decide who will be their next mayor - Zohran Mamdani, Curtis Sliwa or Andrew Cuomo. Races for governor are also happening in New Jersey, where Jack Ciattarelli takes on Mikie Sherill and in Virginia where it's Winsome Earle-Sears versus Abigail Spanberger. All candidates appear to be on the campaign trail this weekend.
