(LaPresse) «La posizione della Lega sullo stop agli aiuti all'Ucraina? Io penso che un congresso sia il luogo per antonomasia nel quale un partito esprime la propria sensibilità. Penso che il segretario della Lega Matteo Salvini, al quale faccio chiaramente le mie congratulazioni per la riconferma, abbia tutto il diritto e anche il dovere di segnalare qual è il sentimento, l'umore che arriva dalla sua base. Dopodiché si sa che l'orientamento prevalente della sensibilità della maggioranza di governo e che siamo tutti d'accordo sul tema che bisogna costruire pace in Ucraina, ma anche orientamento prevalente che per garantire quella pace il modo migliore per farlo sia continuare a sostenere l'Ucraina». Così la premier Giorgia Meloni in conferenza stampa dopo il Consiglio dei ministri. «Anche in passato è stata più volte segnalata questa sensibilità» da parte della Lega, «poi abbiamo comunque ovviamente trovato una sintesi. Non prevedo che quella sintesi cambi», ha continuato, concludendo: «Tra l'altro in Consiglio dei ministri, tra i mille provvedimenti che abbiamo approvato, c'era anche la proroga dello stato di emergenza che consente di mandare gli aiuti all'Ucraina. Quindi mi sento abbastanza serena del fatto che il governo che ha avuto su questo una posizione chiara possa andare avanti.
