“Garantiremo la protezione diplomatica ai nostri cittadini e senza alcun dubbio la protezione dei diritti che potranno essere compromessi dall’azione del governo israeliano. Come ho detto in molte occasioni, la Flotilla non rappresenta alcun pericolo per il governo israeliano, che speriamo che non costituisca alcuna minaccia per la Flotilla stessa. Quello che sta facendola Flotilla è sostituirsi a Israele, che sta impedendo il rifornimento di aiuti umanitari a Gaza. Credo che si debba riconoscere e applaudire quella solidarietà che esprime la società spagnola e molte altre, perché stiamo parlando di una flottiglia che rappresenta più di 40 nazionalità, più di mille partecipanti”. Così il Primo ministro spagnolo Pedro Sanchez a margine del vertice Ue che si sta tenendo in questi giorni a Copenaghen.
