Wartawan Serambi Indonesia/Tribun Network Khalidin Umar Barat selaku petugas Media Center Haji (MCH) 2024 dari Arab Saudi melaporkan para jamaah sudah mulai masuk ke pemondokan di Arafah pada pukul 08.00 WIB.
Kepala Satgas Arafah, Alo Machzumi mengatakan ada 73 maktab dengan total tenda 1.169.
Menurut Ali Machzumi maktab-maktab tersebut disediakan oleh Masyariq atau perusahaan swasta Arab Saudi yang bertugas melayani jamaah haji Indonesia.
Jamaah haji yang masuk seperti yang terlihat di maktab 68. Mereka mulai tiba pukul 09.30 Wib, tiga bus yang membawa jemaah dari Karawang dan Depok telah tiba. Saat tiba, pintu bus masih tersegel.
Petugas Masyariq kemudian membuka segel stiker itu dan mempersilakan para jemaah untuk turun.
Jemaah disambut langsung oleh Kepala Sektor 9 Ad hoc Abrar Munanda.
"Jemaah langsung diarahkan petugas untuk masuk ke tenda biar tidak kepanasan," ujar Abrar.
Beberapa tenda tampak sempat overload karena yang masuk melebihi kapasitas.
Menurut Abrar, hal itu terjadi karena ada jemaah satu grup yang ingin tinggal dalam satu tenda.
"Mereka tidak mau terpisah dengan grupnya, " jelasnya.
"Sekarang yang penting masuk tenda dulu. nanti baru kita data disesuaikan dengan tendanya masing-masing," sambung pria asal Sumatera Barat itu.
Beberapa tenda memang terlihat padat. Namun sebagian yang lain justru lapang.
Petugas sektor akan mengatur lagi agar jamaah menempati tendanya masing-masing.
Kemudian pada pukul 13.00 WIB rombongan embarkasi BDJ. (Banjarmasin) 7, 8 dan 9 tiba di Arafah.
Mereka tampak semangat saat telah tiba di tenda pemondokan untuk menjalani rangkaian ibadah haji.
