A riportarlo al centro dell'attenzione è stato Tucker #Carlson, l'ex anchorman di #FoxNews che dopo l'addio all'emittente ha lanciato un proprio show di grande seguito, tornando su un episodio controverso legato a Roger Waters. Il fondatore dei Pink Floyd ha donato 100.000 dollari a Matt Campbell, fratello di Geoff Campbell, cittadino britannico morto nel crollo delle Torri Gemelle, per sostenere la battaglia di Matt in favore di un'inchiesta indipendente su quanto accaduto quel giorno. Carlson lo ha invitato nel suo show e i due ne hanno discusso apertamente, in quella che Giorgio Bianchi definisce una delle tante vicende — come l'origine del #Covid — "forse liquidate un po' troppo frettolosamente".
A commentare la vicenda a Un Giorno Speciale è Roberto #Vivaldelli, giornalista di InsideOver: "Tucker #Carlson è assolutamente da ammirare, perché ospita sempre dei personaggi che spesso hanno una storia, una cultura politica anche completamente diversa dalla sua. Roger Waters non è sicuramente un conservatore, eppure è stato ospite di Tucker." Vivaldelli ricorda inoltre che lo stesso Carlson aveva già realizzato in passato un documentario sull'argomento: "Evidentemente il suo tentativo, e anche quello di Roger Waters, è quello di tornare a parlare di una questione che negli Stati Uniti è un vero e proprio tabù. Se ne poteva parlare abbastanza liberamente nei primi anni, anche in Europa. Poi dal 2008-2009 ci si è messa una pietra sopra e la versione ufficiale non si può più discutere, altrimenti arrivano i fact checker."
