In a historic election on May 29, South Africa could witness the biggest political shift since the end of apartheid in 1994. Over the weekend, all political parties went full throttle as election campaigning came to a close. President Cyril Ramaphosa held his last giant rally at the FNB stadium in Soweto. While opinion polls say the ANC will lose its majority for the first time since Nelson Mandela led it to victory in 1994, Ramaphosa declared that the party was poised for a decisive win.
