في هذه الحلقة نستعرض نهاية حكم المماليك في العراق الذي امتد لأكثر من 127 سنة، من بداية نفوذ حسن باشا عام 1704 وحتى القضاء عليهم على يد علي رضا باشا عام 1831. نتناول نشأة المماليك في العراق، وطرق حكمهم، والإصلاحات التي قام بها داود باشا آخر حكامهم، ثم الحصار العثماني لبغداد والمذبحة التي قضت على النفوذ المملوكي، وصولاً إلى إعادة المركزية العثمانية وإعادة ترتيب السلطة في بغداد والبصرة والموصل.
نتعرف على أهم الشخصيات في هذه الفترة:
* **داود باشا**: آخر حكام المماليك في بغداد، عرف بإصلاحاته العسكرية والإدارية.
