Alex Otaola desmonta la narrativa de que Charlie Kirk era un “predicador de odio”. En un fragmento de sus intervenciones, el activista conservador hablaba de los inmigrantes cubanos como un ejemplo de comunidad que llegó a EE.UU. con un propósito: abrazar la libertad y huir del comunismo. Reconocía su peso político y su aporte a la nación.

Otaola subraya que Kirk no estaba contra la inmigración en general, sino contra la inmigración descontrolada e irregular que pone en riesgo la seguridad de los vecindarios, la estabilidad de las escuelas y el presupuesto de las comunidades. “Ese discurso lo compartimos todos los que queremos orden y progreso”, recalca.

Para Otaola, lo que queda claro es que asesinar a un hombre de familia por defender ideas distintas es un acto que desnuda la podredumbre de la izquierda.
