Hal ini mendorong para aktivis untuk mengaktifkan langkah-langkah keamanan di tengah meningkatnya akan terjadinya intersepsi Israel.
Menurut informasi terbaru yang dibagikan oleh para peserta, "Kapal-kapal tersebut kini telah meninggalkan Flotila. Kami terus berlayar ke Gaza, mendekati batas 120 mil laut, dekat area di mana armada-armada sebelumnya telah dicegat dan/atau diserang."
Armada-armada tersebut kini berada dalam "zona berisiko tinggi", terdiri dari lebih dari 50 kapal dan hampir 500 aktivis yang mewakili 46 negara.
Drop Site News melaporkan bahwa pasukan angkatan laut Israel bergerak ke arah armada tersebut.
"Kapal-kapal angkatan laut Israel dilaporkan bergerak untuk mencegat Armada Global Sumud. Belum ada kapal yang dinaiki, tetapi CCTV di beberapa kapal telah terganggu. Para peserta sedang bersiap untuk mencegat," kata outlet tersebut.
Presiden Kolombia Gustavo Petro memperingatkan bahwa penggunaan kekuatan apa pun terhadap misi tersebut merupakan pelanggaran serius terhadap hukum internasional.
"Setiap serangan Israel terhadap armada sipil, kemanusiaan, dan non-kekerasan Global Sumud Flotilla merupakan pelanggaran terang-terangan terhadap hukum internasional dan kejahatan terhadap kemanusiaan," tegasnya.
Para aktivis bersikeras bahwa misi mereka untuk mematahkan pengepungan adalah "kewajiban moral dan hukum" berdasarkan hukum internasional.
Pelapor Khusus PBB Francesca Albanese dan beberapa aktivis hak asasi manusia internasional telah menyerukan perlindungan global terhadap konvoi tersebut.
Sebaliknya, Menteri Israel Itamar Ben-Gvir mencap para peserta sebagai "calon teroris", dan menyarankan kapal mereka harus disita dan awaknya dipenjara.(Tribun-Video.com)
