Irma kehilangan nyawa bayi yang baru dilahirkan karena dugaan kasus malpraktik di RSUD Linggarjati, Kuningan, Jawa Barat.
Padahal Irma dan suami menanti kehadiran buah hati selama tujuh tahun.
Kasus ini menjadi perhatian publik setelah Hotman Paris turun langsung mendampingi keluarga korban.
Hotman juga meminta Gubernur Jabar Dedi Mulyadi dan Bupati Kuningan untuk segera mengambil langkah tegas.
"Saya minta tindakan tegas dari Kang Dedi Mulyadi dan Bupati Kuningan terhadap oknum dokter, direksi, dan pejabat RSUD Linggarjati,” kata Hotman dalam konferensi pers di Kelapa Gading, Jakarta Utara, Sabtu (12/7/2025).
Diketahui insiden itu bermula pada Sabtu (14/6/2025) malam saat Irma mengalami pecah ketuban.
Ia langsung dibawa oleh suami ke IGD RSUD Linggarjati, namun dalam kondisi demikian Irma tidak langsung mendapatkan tindakan medis darurat.
Selama dua hari, Irma hanya diberikan obat pereda nyeri padahal dari hasil kontrol sebelumnya, dokter telah menyatakan bahwa persalinan harus dilakukan secara operasi caesar bukan normal.
Namun dokter kandungan baru muncul dua hari kemudian, saat semuanya sudah terlambat.
Melihat kondisi yang dialami Irma dan suaminya, Hotman akan menempuh jalur hukum dan mendesak agar seluruh direksi RSUD Linggarjati dicopot dari jabatannya.
“Ini tak bisa dibiarkan. Akan saya laporkan pidananya, dan juga gugatan perdata terhadap rumah sakit serta pihak-pihak terkait,” tegas Hotman.
