Sebanyak 18 siswa SDN 002 Tanjung terpaksa belajar di ruang kelas bekas WC.
Plt Kepala Sekolah SDN 002 Tanjung, Apriwardi mengatakan mereka sudah lima tahun belajar di kelas bekas WC.
Sekolah terpaksa memakai bangunan bekas WC karena kekurangan ruangan untuk tempat belajar siswa.
"SDN 002 ini cuma ada 9 kelas. Muridnya ada 223 orang. Karena kekurangan ruangan, jadi terpaksa bekas WC dijadikan tempat belajar anak-anak. Di ruangan ini ada 18 orang murid," kata Apriwardi.
Pihak sekolah sudah mengajukan proposal ke Dinas Pendidikan Kabupaten Kampar untuk penambahan ruang kelas.
Namun sudah bertahun-tahun permintaan sekolah tak dikabulkan.
Setelah viral baru pemerintah setempat bergerak.
Pj Bupati Kampar Hambari langsung memerintahkan Dinas Pendidikan Kabupaten Kampar untuk segera menyelesaikan persoalan di SDN 002 Tanjung.
Hambari mengatakan pemerintah akan menganggarkan biaya untuk penambahan kelas di sekolah itu.
