Serba-Serbi Polemik Lagu 'Bayar Bayar Bayar' Sukatani, Band Minta Maaf karena Ada Tekanan?
JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV - Bidang Propam Polda Jawa Tengah memeriksa empat anggota Polda Jateng terkait polemik yang muncul setelah permintaan maaf dari band Sukatani.Band asal Purbalingga, Jawa Tengah itu menjadi sorotan usai mengunggah video permintaan maaf kepada institusi Polri atas lagu mereka yang berjudul Bayar Bayar Bayar.
Lagu yang dirilis pada 2023 tersebut disebut sarat kritik terhadap Polri karena menyinggung penyalahgunaan wewenang dan ketidakadilan hukum. Namun, permintaan maaf dan penarikan lagu tersebut menimbulkan polemik di tengah masyarakat.
Dukungan agar lagu Bayar Bayar Bayar tetap bisa dimainkan datang dari sejumlah musisi dan warganet. Mereka ramai-ramai menggunakan tagar Kami Bersama Sukatani sebagai bentuk solidaritas.
Sementara itu, polisi membantah adanya intervensi terhadap karya Sukatani. Meski demikian, Polda Jateng tidak menampik bahwa ada anggota yang menemui band tersebut untuk meminta klarifikasi terkait lagu Bayar Bayar Bayar.
