Con lo svelamento dei podi ufficiali e l'annuncio di 12 nuovi tedofori appartenenti al team dei Digital Ambassador, Milano Cortina 2026 ha celebrato il traguardo dei cento giorni alla Cerimonia di Apertura dei Giochi Olimpici Invernali. Un momento simbolico che segna l'ingresso nell'ultimo miglio verso il grande appuntamento del 6 febbraio 2026, quando il San Siro Olympic Stadium accenderà il fuoco olimpico e l'Italia tornerà a ospitare i Giochi a vent'anni da Torino 2006 e a settant'anni da Cortina 1956. Alla cerimonia erano presenti, tra gli altri, il presidente della Regione Lombardia Attilio Fontana, il presidente della Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 Giovanni Malagò, il ceo Andrea Varnier e l'assessore allo Sport del Comune di Milano Martina Riva. In collegamento, anche il vicepremier e ministro delle Infrastrutture e dei Trasporti Matteo Salvini. Il leader della Lega, dopo aver definito «autonomisti» i Giochi.
