Dalam pidatonya, ia menyampaikan apresiasi kepada Presiden ke-7 RI, Joko Widodo.
Kepala negara itu menyebut pendirian Bank Emas sebagai momen bersejarah bagi Indonesia.
"Sekali lagi, saya harus ucapkan terima kasih Pak Jokowi," ujarnya.
Lantas ucapan tersebut disambut tepuk tangan meriah para tamu undangan yang hadir.
Ia mengakui bahwa persiapan pendirian bank ini memakan waktu lebih dari empat tahun.
Prabowo juga menyinggung pentingnya menghadirkan presiden sebelumnya dalam peresmian program strategis.
"Harusnya, tolong Seskab ya kalau ada program yang jasanya pemerintah sebelumnya banyak, presiden sebelumnya harus dihadirkan juga," jelasnya.
Ia berencana bertemu Jokowi untuk menyampaikan permintaan maaf dan apresiasi.
Prabowo mengakui banyak menteri Jokowi masih bertugas di pemerintahannya.
Ia menekankan pentingnya keberlanjutan pemerintahan demi kemajuan bangsa.
Menurutnya, jika tim sudah baik, tidak perlu ada perubahan besar.
Prabowo mengungkapkan rasa syukurnya karena banyak program strategis yang ia resmikan.
