Elon Musk's SpaceX has hit the kill switch on Ukraine's military Starlink. Overnight on 13–14 October, Starlink terminals on the military Starshield package started dropping their connection at speeds above 160 km/h, leaving Ukrainian drones blinded mid-mission. Ukraine says it got no warning, and several combat missions failed.
The cap came days after Donald Trump pressured Kyiv to stop hitting Russian oil refineries, announced an "energy ceasefire", and Musk posted that "Zelenskyy has gone too far."
