Destiny 2 - I Would Like Selectable Checkpoints in Raids & Duingeons.

This is a quality of life change I've wanted since early Destiny 1. It's far from an important change right now, nor is it a game-breaking issue amongst everything else going on. But if the raids and dungeons are all going to be adjusted to fit into the new systems of the game, I hope this is a piece of feedback that can be taken into consideration when rebuilding them.

There's always been some method of needing to keep checkpoints over the years, and I've always found it to be frustrating experience when needing to do so (especially as somebody who likes to do solo challenges that require checkpoints). As I mentioned in the video, with groups it just requires an annoying song and dance of having to have one person with a checkpoint swap back and forth between characters and load-ins, creating extra downtime from doing what you actually want to do. While solo there's no method to do so without relying on other people or checkpoint bots. Which is especially annoying when trying to do dungeon farms yourself.

This would allow people easier ways to farm what they want. It allows people to potentially explore activities and areas they otherwise wouldn't too. It also allows people to skip annoying encounters that their team may struggle with or simply not enjoy. It removes the annoying character swaps to emulate this system. And you can still incentivise full clears by giving extra rewards.

So as I said above, while it's not a huge priority, it's one I hope will be considered whenever they rework dungeons and raids to fit with the new system.
