Nel corso della puntata di Omnibus condotta da Gerardo Greco, il giornalista Antonello Caporale ha commentato la recente misura del governo sull'impiego di avvocati d'ufficio per i migranti destinati al rimpatrio, definendola un provvedimento destinato a non sopravvivere.Caporale ha aperto il suo intervento con una critica netta: "Il pasticcio perché la premier sta illustrando l'approvazione di una norma che verrà cancellata. E la prima norma che nasce morta, nasce, muore prima di nascere." Secondo il giornalista, al di là degli aspetti tecnico-giuridici, dietro la norma si nasconde una precisa intenzione politica: "c'è un sottofondo politico di rispondere all'illegalità — il migrante clandestino che ha fatto dei reati che sta qui — con un'illegalità, cioè chiedere all'avvocato di fare il contrario della professione che svolge."Caporale ha poi inserito il provvedimento in una lettura più ampia della situazione politica del governo.
