Atas musibah ambruknya bangunan musala di Pondok Pesantren Al Khoziny, Sidoarjo, Jawa Timur.
Melalui kunjungan ke RSUD Notopuro, Kamis (2/10/2025) malam, ia menegaskan akan menjadikan para santri yang mengalami amputasi sebagai anak angkatnya.
Muhaimin menuturkan dirinya siap menanggung biaya hidup dan pendidikan para korban.
Ia juga berjanji mendampingi hingga mereka menyelesaikan kuliah.
Di rumah sakit tersebut diketahui masih ada belasan santri yang dirawat.
Dari informasi, dua pasien menjalani amputasi, masing-masing pada bagian tangan dan pergelangan kaki.
Selain memberikan santunan, Muhaimin turut memberikan semangat kepada para korban.
Ia berharap santri yang kehilangan anggota tubuh tetap tegar menghadapi ujian berat tersebut.
Sementara itu, Direktur RSUD Notopuro, Atok Irawan, menjelaskan tindakan amputasi dilakukan karena situasi darurat.
Tim medis terpaksa mengambil langkah cepat agar korban bisa selamat dari himpitan reruntuhan bangunan.
