Macet 10 KM di Pelabuhan Ketapang Banyuwangi, Kendaraan Tertahan Hingga 3 Hari Akibat Kapal Terbatas
BANYUWANGI, KOMPAS.TV - Kemacetan panjang kendaraan terjadi di Pelabuhan Ketapang, Banyuwangi, Jawa Timur.Truk logistik, bus, dan mobil pribadi mengantre hingga tiga hari untuk menyeberang ke Bali.
Sejak tiga hari terakhir, ratusan truk dan angkutan muatan barang terpaksa menginap di area parkir dermaga Pelabuhan Ketapang, Banyuwangi, Jawa Timur.
Kemacetan terjadi hingga 10 kilometer. Selain truk, mobil pribadi dan bus juga tersendat akibat padatnya lalu lintas menuju pelabuhan.
Penyebab kemacetan karena terbatasnya kapal di Pelabuhan Ketapang, karena pengetatan operasional pasca insiden KM Tunu Pratama Jaya beberapa waktu lalu. Saat ini, hanya 6 kapal yang diizinkan berlayar dari 15 kapal jika dalam kondisi normal.
Kemacetan hingga 10 kilometer menyebabkan truk, bus, dan mobil pribadi terhambat menyeberang ke Pulau Bali. Seorang sopir truk muatan obat mengaku sudah tiga hari menunggu di Pelabuhan Penyeberangan Ketapang, Banyuwangi.
Bukan hanya truk logistik, sejumlah mobil wisatawan yang hendak liburan ke Bali turut terhambat dampak antrean panjang. Keterbatasan jumlah kapal yang beroperasi di Pelabuhan Ketapang, Banyuwangi, menjadi penyebab utama.
