Identitas perwira tersebut diketahui bernama Tal Lahat (21) asal Kfar Saba.
Ia tewas setelah terkena peluru perlawanan.
Kini, jumlah total tentara Israel yang terbunuh dalam perang di Jalur Gaza mencapai 681 orang.
