Aktivis demokrasi, Neni Nur Hayati, melayangkan somasi ke jajaran Pemerintah Provinsi Jawa Barat, Senin (21/07), buntut unggahan akun Instagram @diskominfojabar yang diduga menyebarkan identitas pribadi tanpa persetujuan atau doxing sepekan sebelumnya. Unggahan itu kini telah dihapus.
Forum advokasi keterbukaan informasi, Wakca Balaka, menganggap pencatutan foto pada unggahan Instagram instansi resmi Pemprov Jabar itu memberi ruang pada warganet yang pro terhadap Gubernur Jawa Barat Dedi Mulyadi untuk melakukan perundungan, ujaran kebencian, dan pencemaran nama baik atau trolling.
Neni mendapat serangan digital dengan ancaman penyiksaan, kekerasan gender berbasis online (KGBO), peretasan nomor WhatsApp, dan teror telepon dari nomor tidak dikenal melalui akun media sosialnya.
BBC News Indonesia telah meminta konfirmasi Kepala Dinas Komunikasi dan Informatika Pemprov Jabar, namun belum mendapat respons. Namun sebelumnya, Dedi Mulyadi telah membantah melakukan doxing terhadap Neni.
Bagaimanapun, kepala daerah semestinya tidak alergi terhadap kritikan dan memanfaatkan media sosial sebagai ruang dialog untuk menciptakan kebijakan yang lebih baik, menurut pakar komunikasi publik.
