"Quella è un'immagine alternativa all'Occidente. Certamente non sono democrazie, noi siamo l'Occidente, crediamo nella democrazia, naturalmente dialoghiamo e parliamo. Quella è un'immagine alternativa a quella nella quale noi crediamo. Sono rimasto stupefatto dal fatto che un ex presidente del consiglio che dice di essere europeista e che è legato a forze politiche che parlano ogni giorno di Europa poi si schieri dalla parte di coloro che sono contro l'Europa. Mi lascia molto perplesso, poi ognuno nella vita fa le scelte che vuole. Purtroppo in questo momento a sinistra c'è chi fa delle scelte di violenza verbale e fa anche delle scelte politiche che mi lasciano perplesso. Io sto dalla parte dell'Europa nella sostanza e non soltanto nella forma" così il Ministro Tajani, a margine della presentazione della Festa nazionale di Forza Italia giovani alla Camera dei Deputati.
