Entre desmontajes de radios, máquinas arcade y cajas registradoras, la mecánica del juego nos pone a prueba: buscar el depósito correcto, sacar combustible con la manguera y evitar que un zombi nos arruine el plan mientras vamos completamente sobrecargados de objetos.
La mejor parte llega cuando encontramos un coche prácticamente nuevo, con llaves incluidas tiradas en el suelo, y lo dejamos como un cascarón vacío tras desmontar hasta la última pieza útil. Con todo el material recogido, volvemos a la base cargados hasta arriba para intentar, por fin, poner en marcha el generador que llevábamos episodios sin activar correctamente.
Tras varios intentos fallidos, confusiones con los menús y algún que otro golpe de suerte, conseguimos conectar el generador, meterle combustible y encenderlo. Ese momento de ver la electricidad funcionando en la casa, aunque sea a costa de hacer ruido y atraer curiosos, es una victoria enorme para la supervivencia a largo plazo.
