L'ancien président Laurent Gbagbo s'adresse à ses partisans, remerciant les participants à une récente marche et critiquant la chanson qui suggérait de le réinstaller au pouvoir par la force, soulignant l'importance de ne pas utiliser de termes liés à l'origine ethnique ou à la violence.Le discours met en lumière son opposition farouche à un quatrième mandat présidentiel, qu'il juge inconstitutionnel et dangereux pour la Côte d'Ivoire. Gbagbo dénonce l'influence occidentale sur les décisions politiques du président actuel et rejette l'idée que les accomplissements justifient une prolongation de mandat, citant des exemples historiques de dirigeants qui ont quitté le pouvoir. Il affirme sa détermination à empêcher un quatrième mandat, en dépit de l'emprisonnement de certains de ses camarades, et se déclare candidat contre cette prolongation de pouvoir.
Franklin Nyamsi rajoute des argument sur la nécessité de libération des peuples africains, et la méthodes pour éviter des pièges.
