Cụ thể, hôm trước, trên trục Avdiivka - Pokrovsk, các đơn vị thuộc nhóm Trung tâm đã giành được chỗ đứng trong khu vực trường học và chiếm giữ một trang trại, bao vây lực lượng Kiev từ phía bắc và phía đông, hôm nay họ tiếp tục đột phá phòng tuyến đối phương, chiếm phần lớn làng.
Các kênh truyền thông Ukraine thừa nhận điều này: "Novoselovka 1. Nga đã phản công và đánh bật lực lượng Kiev ra khỏi trung tâm, họ cũng bắt đầu gây áp lực lên sườn phía bắc, buộc chúng ta phải rút lui ở ngoại ô phía tây ngôi làng, đối phương cũng từ phía đông nam xông tới, phải thừa nhận sự thực là phần lớn ngôi làng đã nằm trong tay người Nga!".
