Pegi Setiawan Dianggap Jadi Korban Salah Tangkap di Kasus Vina, Pakar Hukum: Polri Wajib Minta Maaf
TRIBUN-VIDEO.COM - Pegi Setiawan telah bebas dan kehilangan status tersangka di kasus pembunuhan Vina dan Eky Cirebon 2016 silam.Hal itu terjadi setelah gugatan praperadilan Pegi dikabulkan oleh Majelis Hakim Pengadilan Negeri Bandung.
Terkait peristiwa ini, Pakar Hukum Pidana dari Universitas Brawijaya, Fachrizal Afandi menilai, Polri telah melakukan aksi salah tangkap terhadap Pegi.
Sehingga, menurutnya Polri harus meminta maaf kepada Pegi Setiawan.
Hal itu ia ungkapkan, Selasa (9/7/2024).
"Saya kira polisi wajib minta maaf, karena ini kan bukan kasus pertama salah tangkap."
"Dulu pernah ada penangkapan pengamen Cipulir yang dipukuli dan sebagainya," ujar Fachrizal.
Permintaan maaf itu, juga harus bersamaan dengan proses evaluasi dari pucuk pimpinan Polri kepada jajaran penyidik.
Khususnya Polda Jawa Barat, karena telah sangat merugikan Pegi Setiawan.
