Dalam konferensi pers pada Sabtu, Putri dan Maula menegaskan bahwa tidak merencanakan kegiatan 'Pesta Rakyat Makan Gratis.
Maula menjelaskan bahwa awalnya hanya memberi makanan pada warga yang sudah hadir sejak siang sebelum acara eksenian yang digelar ayahnya, Dedi Mulyadi.
