Stoke Space has unveiled Nova Block 2—a dramatically larger version of its fully reusable rocket capable of carrying 15 metric tonnes to low-Earth orbit. With 14 Zenith engines, a redesigned reusable upper stage, a five-meter fairing and $1 billion in new funding, Stoke’s ambitions just became much bigger.Meanwhile, Europe is having an extraordinary week in spaceflight. Isar Aerospace’s Spectrum reaches orbit, PLD Space reveals the reusable Miura 9, the UK announces a £7.8 billion space strategy, and The Exploration Company raises $450 million before winning a major ESA contract for its Nyx cargo spacecraft.
