Nelle fasi di arrivo dei tifosi ospiti, spiega la Questura comasca, un bus proveniente da Bologna ha volontariamente eluso le disposizioni finalizzate a garantire lo svolgersi della manifestazione in sicurezza, uscendo dall'autostrada in una zona diversa e raggiungendo la città senza effettuare le previste attività di filtraggio, allo scopo di transitare davanti a un folto gruppo di tifosi comaschi. Gli occupanti del bus hanno quindi obbligato l'autista del mezzo a fermare la marcia scendendo in strada e cercando un contatto con i sostenitori del Como. L'intervento delle forze dell'ordine ha permesso di impedire che i due gruppi venissero a contatto. I circa 70 tifosi bolognesi sono stati portati in Questura sotto il controllo di diverse squadre del Reparto Mobile di Milano e del Baschi Verdi della Guardia di Finanza di Como.
