Netanyahu ke Kibbutz Nir Oz Bareng Istri, Disambut Penolakan Warga
JAKARTA, KOMPASTV - Netanyahu melakukan kunjungan pertama di masa perang ke Kibbutz Nir Oz, Kamis (3/7/2025),Kawasan tersebut merupakan salah satu tempat yang paling parah terkena serangan pada 7 Oktober 2023 oleh Hamas.
"Saya di sini bersama istri saya Sara di Kibbutz Nir Oz, menghadapi pemandangan kehancuran, kehancuran dan pembantaian, bersama para anggota Kibbutz, mereka yang selamat, dan juga mereka yang kembali dari penahanan," kata Netanyahu.
Ia mengatakan dapat merasakan hingga ke lubuk hati, besarnya rasa sakit, dalamnya kesedihan, trauma yang terjadi pada seluruh komunitas, dan masih menimpanya.
Namun kedatangannya tersebut dikritik beberapa warga karena tidak mengunjungi komunitas tersebut lebih awal selama perang yang telah berlangsung hampir 21 bulan.
Sekelompok kecil pengunjuk rasa berkumpul di luar gerbang depan kibbutz.
Netanyahu datang melalui pintu masuk sekunder dan menghindari kerumunan.
Sebelumnya serangan 7 Oktober 2023, ketika dipimpin Hamas melancarkan serangan mendadak ke Israel, menewaskan sekitar 1.200 orang, sebagian besar warga sipil, dan menculik 251 sandera.
Kelompok tersebut diyakini masih memiliki sekitar 50 sandera, dengan kurang dari setengahnya diperkirakan masih hidup.
