King Charles III and Queen Camila will not move into the Buckingham Palace after renovations were completed. The renovations which costed nearly $470 Million included rewiring, plumbing and the cleaning of Asbestos, all paid for by the British taxpayer. Since becoming the King in 2022, Charles has been living across the Buckingham Palace in a mansion. He now wants to use the palace as day office for official meetings. With this decision, Charles has become the first British Monarch since Queen Victoria almost two centuries ago to not live in the Buckingham Palace.
