صاحَبه عن إثم وعن جميع الذَمّ
أو في اكتساب البُلْغَةِ مِن حِلِّهِ في عِفَّةِ
مما يفي بالحاجةِ من لقمة وخِرْقَةِ
بنيةٍ صالحةِ لا لريا وسمعةِ
مَعْ ترك كل عادةِ توجبُ كلَّ شقوةِ
أو في قضاءِ خَلَّه لمؤمنٍ أو مؤمنه
ومَن عن المعالي وذروة الكمالٍ
عَجَزَ فليحاذر من فعلِ كلِّ خاسر
وليأت بالعزائمْ والتركِ للمآثر
عسىٰ يكونُ سالما إنْ لن يكونَ غانما

( وَقُل رَبِّ أَدْخِلْنِي مُدْخَلَ صِدْقٍ وَأَخْرِجْنِي مُخْرَجَ صِدْقٍ ) ليكون نظري إلى حَوْلِك وقُوَّتِك إذا أدخلْتني، واسْتِسْلامِي وانقيادي إليك إذا أخرجتني
